This silk painting of storks among reed is carefully painted on a sheet of fabric. The faint and faded colours pushing a really "old" feel to the artwork can only be described as emotion. The range of a lemony cream to a deep black stretches through shades of yellow, purple and orange. The feel of this artwork also seems to be brought by the texture of the fabric it is painted on, as well as the limited colour range. This piece was painted by Soraya Runckel and has been featured in many galleries. This artwork may have been "intended" to make and admirer reminisce. Once again, stressing the faint colours Soraya Runckel has painted with, and the hues she has chosen. A possible way to desscribe the tint is a bit of a sepia tone. Ms Runckel has been an artist for many years, painting since she was a child. Her artworks, including this, are quite well known.
